🌳 Master Medicine of the Sacred Forest 🌳
Tsunu Rapé is one of the most respected and foundational medicines of the Amazon, prepared by the Yawanawá people using the sacred ashes of the Tsunu tree (Platycyamus regnellii), traditional tobacco, and ancestral prayers carried through generations. It is widely regarded as a medicine of spiritual alignment, energetic protection, and deep meditation.
The Yawanawá have long worked with Tsunu to support harmony between the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of life. Its grounding nature strengthens one's connection to Mother Earth while encouraging emotional release, inner clarity, and the restoration of energetic flow throughout the body.
Traditionally, Tsunu is used for meditation, prayer, ceremony, and daily spiritual practice. It harmonizes the chakras, supports emotional balance, and provides a strong foundation from which other medicines and teachings may be received with greater presence and awareness.

PERSONAL REFLECTION FROM HANÚ
This particular Tsunu was prepared by my friend Ronna Yawanawá during a sacred dieta, and because of that it carries incredibly strong prayers and intentions within the medicine itself. The spirit of this blend is exceptionally powerful, making it one of the deepest and most healing Tsunus I have ever worked with.
The medicine arrives with a sharp, earthy intensity that is immediately grounding and expansive at the same time. It clears the energetic field with remarkable strength while anchoring awareness deeply into the body and into the presence of Mother Earth.
Although some Tsunu medicines carry a softer or more feminine quality, this particular preparation feels unmistakably masculine and warrior-like. That does not surprise me, given my experiences with Ronna in ceremony and the strength of the prayers that were offered during its creation. The medicine carries discipline, integrity, protection, and profound healing power.
This is one of my absolute favourite blends and one of my personal go-to medicines for instantly grounding myself and clearing my field. Whether in daily practice or larger ceremonies, this medicine always seems to call itself forward from my bundle when it is needed, either for my own work or to share with others.
To me, Tsunu is truly a master and foundational medicine. It acts on the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual levels simultaneously, bringing balance, clarity, protection, and a deep remembrance of our relationship with Pachamama and the living forest.
